competed in the Lomba Proposal Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa hosted by Petra Christian University and achieved 5th place among more than 100 competing teams.

IBE students won 1st Place in FAITH, Faculty of Industrial Technology International Competition from Petra Christian University with the theme: Transformation to Greentech.

The competition started on April and had the winners announced in July 2022.

Decision making is the process of making choices by identifying a decision, gathering information, and assessing alternative resolutions. Using a step-by-step decision-making process can help you make more deliberate, thoughtful decisions by organizing relevant information and defining alternatives.

We’ll discuss it specifically at the fire and rescue department. You can also learn to solve problems, make quick and right decisions. Luckily there is a special guest star from the public service department of Fire & Rescue who awaits you. Amadea Jessica Handoko, will be explaining about data analysis in public service within the fire department and how decisions are being made based on population size in different cities within our country.

have succeeded to publish a journal titled : Determining Factors Affecting Behavioral Intention to Organize an Online Event during the COVID-19 Pandemic 

under supervision of Mr. Yogi Tri Prasetyo

 

Currently, in the Claket area, there are several hamlets that have residents who are not economically productive, namely school children, youth groups, and groups of housewives. We target Abdimas, especially to school children.

Sembong Hamlet, one of the hamlets in the Claket area, has two elementary schools, but at this time the Claket Elementary School does not have a library. The library is one of the simplest ways to increase students' reading interest. Besides that, SD is not in a position to be able to provide enough books, let alone up-to-date books for students to read. It takes a free library to be made in front of elementary schools and public places, where the books are obtained from donations obtained from drop boxes placed in the UK Petra canteen and donors via the website https://www.ready-ibe.com/

The free library will be made in the form of small boxes of materials affordable and is expected to be replicated to many points in the Claket area. This free library can also hone the honesty and responsibility of children who borrow books from the box to return the books.

In addition to making free libraries in several public facilities in Claket, Abdimas will also carry out several periodic activities which involve children and youth groups. Periodic activities, for example, are conducting a book review together or watching films based on books such as Laskar Pelangi. It is hoped that the Claket community's interest in reading will increase with these programs. In addition, this Abdimas activity can foster a culture of sharing by becoming a book donor in the community.

 

 

 

During the 61st UK Petra Anniversary on 22 September 2022, the IBE Program received
the Internationalization Performance Petra Award, as the International Program with the Highest Number of Outbound Students in 2021/2022.

The award was given by the Chancellor of the UK Petra Prof. Dr. Ir. Djwantoro Hardjito, M.Eng. to Dra. Indriati Njoto Bisono, M.Sc., Ph.D. as the head of the IBE program.

Thank you so much for the award, and congratulations to the entire IBE family!

has won the 1st Prize for the Undergraduate Statistics Class Project Competition (USCLAP) with the title Impact of Education, Population, and Unemployment Towards Poverty Rate World Wide (https://www.causeweb.org/usproc/usclap/2021/fall/winners).

 

This competition is very prestigious, followed by students from top universities, and sponsored by the American Statistical Association (ASA) and the Consortium for Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics Education (CAUSE). Therefore, we are very proud of the achievements that have been achieved.

A total of six UK Petra students won the 2021 Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) scholarships from the Directorate General of Higher Education (Dikjen Dikti) of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, and 5 of them are IBE students!

The IISMA 2021 program is a program for students in semesters 4 to 7 to study for one semester (approximately 16 weeks) at overseas partner universities.

They have proven to be victorious, competing with around 2000 students who apply throughout Indonesia.

The list of names and destination universities where they will go and stay for 1 semester is as follows:
