As part of Comcast Advertising, Freewheel provides advertising technologies and platforms to media owners, advertisers and media buyers. Yuling spearheads the development and operation of FreeWheel’s technology platform and network operations and lead a global engineering team spanning the Americas, Europe, and China. Yuling has been at CTO position since Jan 2021 and played a vital role in helping to accelerate the company’s strategy and vision.
Prior to CTO role, Yuling is Senior VP of engineering and General Manager overseeing Freewheel’s Beijing R&D center. Graduated from Tsinghua University in China with BA and MS degree in computer science, PhD candidate from University of Maryland College Park, Yuling has more than 20 years of experience in high tech field with experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud, Advertising Technology. Yuling also experienced in leading and working with software engineering teams worldwide.
Over the course of 20+ years career, Yuling has successfully built and scaled engineering, technology, research and development and operations teams at global and start-up organizations. She worked at MicroStrategy - a global leader in enterprise analytics and mobility software, Verizon in US, JD.Com – one of China’s largest business-to-consumer e-commerce companies, and several startup companies.
