The (International) Business Engineering (IBE) program is designed to foster engineering graduates who have in-depth knowledge of engineering and information technology but also have extensive knowledge in business, who are often referred to T-shaped engineers.

The IBE curriculum covers a wide range of business-related classes, including: engineering science, research, data mining, economics and more. They all provide the framework within which students can develop an analytical understanding of business engineering.

For student learning center, MicroStrategy’s Business Intelligence tool is utilized as business analytics platform, especially in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence and Modeling courses.

IBE also provides networking opportunity with various industries both nationally as well as internationally.
Students have a weekly meeting practicing Agile Project Management principle and developing leadership, organizational skills, as well as real practice to organize various events that involved hundred participants.
This is an interdisciplinary program where various disciplines (civil engineering, industrial engineering, & mathematical/statistical modeling) do serious research together.
